Innovation that opens new possibilities
InMind is at the forefront of developing robotics technology for dynamic human-robot collaboration.
Our robot is specialised in high-mix, low-volume production for the electronics manufacturing services industry. To handle a wide variety of tasks, our robot is designed with a unique technical architecture, a complete system delivering extremely efficient on-device signal processing. This enables it to succeed in complex, real-world environments where rigid automation falls short.
A unique opportunity
Daniel Skauge first came across InMind while he was still a student.
“I got really excited right away and thought, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – this is where I want to work. It felt like San Francisco had suddenly arrived in Trondheim! Luckily, I got the chance: first part-time alongside my studies, and now full-time.”
Daniel studied cybernetics at Norwegian University of Science and Technology and says he has known for a long time that this was the path he wanted to pursue.
“At InMind, I’ve been trusted with a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to explore many different areas. That’s one of the great things about working in a startup – there’s always something new to learn, always something new to explore. We’re living in a time where incredible things are happening in AI and robotics, so you really have to stay on top of developments and be ready to seize new opportunities. Chances are, the work we’re doing today will play a big role in shaping how people live in the future. To me, being part of that is amazing.”

A flying start
Mikkel Blomnes is convinced: robots will be an essential part of the future. “I believe investing in local innovation in robotics is essential. The technology is advancing at an incredible pace – this is an opportunity we can’t afford to miss.”
Mikkel is impressed by his colleagues’ exceptional expertise and drive, and values the trust and responsibility he’s been given from day one. “This is my first job, and it’s a great fit for me. No two days are the same and I get to be creative and tackle a wide range of challenges. The more I learn, the more opportunities I see. It’s incredibly exciting to start my career at the very forefront of innovation.”

We are pioneers
Radhika Menon, who comes from a strong research background, is driven by the challenge of discovering new ways to solve things.
“I’m fascinated by InMind’s vision of teaching robots how to learn, and by the way the company is approaching it. It’s also a perfect match for my background in image processing, machine learning, and chip design. There are so many areas to dive into.”
Radhika embraces new challenges head-on and believes the possibilities within robotics are almost limitless.
“The pace of development is incredible, and the progress made in just the last few years has been enormous. At InMind, I see us as pioneers. Our goal is to enable robots to take on new tasks and free up human talent for more meaningful work. And I truly believe we’re on the right track.”
Challenges inspire me
Tom Kristian Bardal left a secure job to take on new challenges at InMind. “There is so much happening in robotics, and InMind has a truly exciting approach. Of course, it’s challenging, but for me, that just makes it even more interesting. Life is too short to only do what’s safe and easy.”
Tom values the opportunity to work across disciplines and see the direct impact of their work. “At InMind, we are doing something unique — something that has never been done before. We take a multidisciplinary approach to robotics and have already built an exciting professional environment with highly skilled colleagues. And when we succeed, the possibilities are endless!”

A place to grow
Sergey Gavrilin was convinced by the passion and vision of InMind’s founder, Torgeir Trøite, and became the company’s first hire. “The robotics industry is evolving at an incredible pace. Different entities are driving innovation forward rapidly, yet there are still major challenges to solve. This is where InMind can make a real difference.”
Sergey has worked in several startups and enjoys working with diverse tasks. “At InMind, we have a powerful mix of experience and expertise. I have the chance to expand my knowledge and develop valuable skills. Plus, there’s room for everyone to share ideas and take initiative. That’s the foundation of great innovation!”

Driving the future forward
Bo Peng, an experienced developer, had no doubt when the opportunity at InMind arose. “For me, it’s important to be part of a leading environment and contribute to innovation. InMind is working on technology that I strongly believe in—technology that I see as a key part of future solutions.”
Bo also values teamwork highly. “Being part of a community that challenges, explores, and breaks barriers means a lot to me. What we are working on will enable robots to assist with important tasks and improve lives. That, to me, is incredibly exciting and meaningful!”
